Description
The VIBRO-METER IOCN 200-566-000-113 is a communication interface card for Meggitt Vibro-Meter’s VM600 Rack Mechanical Protection System (MPS) and/or Condition Monitoring system (CMS). The following are some of the key features of the communication interface card:
Data Communication Gateway: Provides Ethernet and RS-232 communication interfaces for data exchange between VM600 systems and external devices, including human machine interface (HMI), monitoring and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and engineering workstations.
Configuration Management: Easy to remotely configure and manage VM600 system parameters, including alarm setup points, sensor Settings, and communication Settings.
System redundancy: Support for redundant communication links ensures continuous data availability and system operation even in the event of failure of a single communication path.
Additional features include a front panel display for system condition monitoring, a front panel reset button for alarm confirmation, and support for fieldbus protocols such as Modbus and PROFIBUS.
