Description
The NI-9212, a US NI C series temperature acquisition input module, is an analog input module with 8 channels used to collect temperature signals. It provides a maximum of 8 differential analog input channels, a sampling rate of 95 S/s/channel, and an isolation voltage of up to 60 Vrms between each channel.
NI-9212 can support various types of sensors such as standard thermocouples and micro thermocouples (mini TC). It also has the function of inter channel isolation, which can protect the channels from voltage shocks and transient voltages. It is suitable for various application scenarios that require group isolation channels, such as large-scale household appliance testing, on-board data recording, battery stack testing, and various other noisy industrial environments.
The isolation voltage of NI-9212 is achieved by placing isolation devices between input channels. These isolation devices can be isolation amplifiers, optocouplers, electromagnetic relays, or other isolation components. Through these isolation devices, NI-9212 can isolate the voltage between input channels, protecting them from voltage surges and transient voltages.

This isolation technology can effectively prevent the influence of electrical noise and other interference signals on the analog input signal, thereby improving measurement accuracy and reliability.
