The TRICONEX 3721 Invensys is a market leader in total safety instrumentation systems. As one of the most rigorously evaluated safety systems in the world, more than 13,000 Triconex controllers are currently in use in security and critical control applications around the world, where they have accumulated more than 600 million hours of safe operation. The Triconex brand was born in 1983 when Jon Wimer assembled a team of talented engineers, developers and professionals dedicated to building world-class industrial safety systems. Triconex was acquired by the UK-based company Siebe in 1994. In 1999, Siebe merged with British Tire and Rubber, another British engineering company, to form Invensys plc. Together with Invensys’ other brands, including the company’s Foxboro, SimSci, Wonderware and Avantis products, the Triconex system enables Invensys customers to integrate their control, automation and business management technologies, To improve the safety, efficiency and profitability of their operations in real time.

Other breakthrough TRICONEX solutions for TRICONEX 3721 include the Tricon controller, a state-of-the-art fault-tolerant controller based on a three-module redundant architecture. It is the industry’s first fully triple-redundant, industrially reinforced and cost-effective system. In addition, the Tricon controller is the only commercially available, off-the-shelf process safety device solution certified by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for nuclear 1E applications. In the past year Invensys has also released the Triconex Security View Solution, the world’s first software alarm and bypass management solution for SIL3 applications certified by Rhein GMBH, as well as Trident and Triconex Universal System version 3.0, This release features OPC UA(Unified Architecture) communications integration, providing greater connectivity with third-party systems.
