PROSOFT MVI56-PDPMV1 main network interface module allows ControlLogix processor
Characteristics and advantages
According to IEC 61158, this module supports the full master specification. Acyclic parameter data can be transmitted via a level 1 or 2 DPV1 service, allowing the processor to easily communicate with slave devices that support the PROFIBUS DPV0/V1 protocol.
This module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the ControlLogix processor. The data transfer from the processor is asynchronous with the I/O data transfer on the PROFIBUS network. The database is defined by the user and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol.
