GE Abaco Systems’ PCIE-5565PIORC-200A00 is an Advanced Application Reflective Memory (RFM) node interface card. This card has the following characteristics and instructions:
Configuration: The card is equipped with 256 megabytes of memory, with a multi-mode transmission mode that complies with RoHS standards.
Transmission rate: It provides a high-speed, low latency, deterministic interface that allows data to be shared between up to 256 independent systems (nodes) in a reflective memory network at a rate of up to 170MB/s.
Data storage and reading: Each PCIe reflective memory board can be configured with 128 or 256MB onboard SDRAM. Local SDRAM provides fast read access time for stored data. The write operation is stored in the local SDRAM and broadcasted to other reflective memory nodes through a high-speed fiber optic data path.
Data transmission: The data transmission between nodes is software transparent, so there is no need for I/O overhead. Send and receive FIFOs buffer data during peak data rates to optimize host and bus performance and maintain high data throughput.
