Product description
The DS3800HMPJ1A1A is a printed circuit board (PCB) designed as part of the Mark IV Speedtronic control system. Thanks to MKIV’s triple modular redundant architecture, the Mark IV for controlling industrial gas turbine and steam turbine systems is a significant step forward in developing a reliable turbine control system compared to earlier Speedtronic systems. This design change using redundant and repetitive processors improves reliability and reduces downtime compared to previous GE turbine control systems.
The DS3800HMPJ1A1A usually comes with a board ID, multiple codes, and is marked on the top edge with letter codes and symbols to help with proper alignment. The leading edge of the board has two LED indicators mounted on its surface. One of them is a yellow LED and the other is red. The edge also includes several TP test points, three jumper switches, and a right Angle cable connector. Extraction clamps are installed in the factory borehole to help install and remove the circuit board.
Other board components include resistor network arrays, capacitors, resistors, integrated circuits of more than 50 different designs, and vertical pin connectors. There is also a backplane connector on the back edge of the board. Most of these components are labeled with some kind of reference name. Many components also come with additional code from the original manufacturer.
