Product description
The DS3800HMPF1F1F is the controller board for the Mark IV Speedtronic system. The Mark IV is one of several iterations of the Speedtronic control system supplied by General Electric. Each of these provides a different type of control for gas and steam industrial turbine systems. The Mark IV is the first of these systems to provide distributed control through a triple modular control architecture that uses three identical controllers, each of which votes on inputs before sending information to the communicator.
The DS3800HMPF1F1F is an available version of the Mark IV controller board from AX Control. Other versions include HXPC, HRMA, HPRA, HAIA, NTCA, HSAA, and NVCA boards. Some of these boards can also be used as communicator modules.
The DS3800HMPF1F1F is a rectangular board, usually designed with additional optional auxiliary plates. The two boards communicate using a ribbon cable that plugs into each board using a pin connector. The connector on the DS3800HMPF1F1F is located in the center of the board. In addition, the board has a backplane connector and a right Angle connector on the leading edge between its extractor clamp, test point, jumper switch and LED indicator. The extractor on the board can be used to insert and remove the board and allows technicians to handle the board without touching the precision components mounted on the board surface.
