The AI620 analog output module is a powerful device with the following main features and specifications:

Size and type:
Compact and intrinsically safe MTU is 58mm (2.3 “), extended MTU is 120mm (4.72 “), and redundant MTU is 124mm (4.88 “).
MTU types can be mixed and matched within I/O stations to meet the needs of users.
Rated voltage:
The MTUs has rated insulation voltages of 50 V and 250 V respectively.
The 50 V type is available for all 24/48 V discrete I/O and analog I/O modules.
The MTUs with a 250 V rated insulation voltage is used with all 120 V and 250 V rated I/O modules.
Module identification and installation:
The inserted I/O module is assigned a unique location identifier for its MTU.
With the incremental bus design, the physical size of the S800 I/O installation is proportional to the number of Mtus installed.
The physical lock on the S800 I/O locks the I/O module to its MTU, and the module can only be removed or added when the lock is in the unlocked position.
Bus modem:
The AI620 module uses the TB820/TB820V2 module bus modem, which is the fiber optic interface that connects to the module bus.
The module bus modem has electrical and optical interfaces, which are logically the same bus.
Up to 12 I/O modules can be connected to the electrical module bus and up to 7 clusters can be connected to the fiber module bus.
The TB820/TB820V2 module bus modem has a rotary switch whose cluster numbers 1 to 7 can be selected on the optical module bus.
Power and Protection:
A power supply (single or redundant 24 V DC power supply) can be connected to the power terminal (L+ & L-).
Provides 24 V DC protection (from the source) and an isolated, protected 5V is connected to the cluster’s I/O modules via the electrical module bus.
Other features:
The module design allows for hot swap and online replacement without interrupting system operation.
On-line diagnosis and signal break detection are provided to enhance the reliability and stability of the system
